Beginning Knitting:
This is where the excitement starts! Learn the essentials of Continental knitting from the basic stitches to
the joy of creation. Learn casting on, knitting, purling, patterning, knitting in the round on circular needles
and double points as well as finishing. Learn now and make all of your holiday gifts! Not seeing a time

Our most popular class ever.... Knitted in one piece from the top down, a great sweater can be made in
any size, with any gauge yarn and you design and fit it as you go! You'll be amazed at how easy and fast it
is. It provides endless variety and timeless style in pullovers and cardigans. Beginners as well as
advanced knitters can make these sweaters! Please discuss required supplies with Atelier Marin. Some
homework is required before first class!

Seamless Sweater II:
For students who have completed Seamless Sweater Class ONLY. Take your seamless sweater to the
next level. We’ll show you how to add ribbing, cables, a hood, a shawl collar and more. Learn to adapt it
into a Seamless Shrug! Or you can come in with your ideas and we’ll walk you through them!

Pattern Play Blanket:
A discovery workshop for knitting a sampler blanket as you learn how to manipulate your stitches into
richly textured cables, twists, eyelets, astrakhan and trellis patterns.

Cables N Lace:

This elegant color knitting technique produces a hybrid between Fair Isle and Intarsia with a speckled
effect with main and contrast colors. Students will learn how to "trap" their yarn: Continental knitters using
both colors on 1 finger and English knitters using 1 color in each hand.. Come in to see the shop model!

Learn the basics of crochet in this fun single class. This class is a terrific introduction to the stitches and
concepts that will get you ready to start a project. Also great for knitters who want to learn crochet
techniques for picking up stitches, making button holes and adding beautiful edgings.

Color Knitting:
Learn the exciting possibilities of knitting with multiple colors! In this 4-part class, we will cover all the
basic technique of striping, Intarsia, Fair Isle and modular knitting. Projects will include 3 scarves and 1

Introduction to Entrelac:
Entrelac (French for latticework) is the exquisite technique used to create a textured diamond pattern.
While the end result resembles basket-woven strips of knitted fabric, the actual material comprises
interconnected squares on two different orientations. Project will be a wrap or scarf. Come see sample!

Knitting with Beads:
Adding beads to knitted works is a fun and creative way to add luxurious detail and design. We'll show
